These are wonderful bromeliads whose long lasting inflorescence resembles a blazing red sword - hence their common names! These plants behave just like their other bromeliad cousins - you water the plant itself, not the soil!

Light: Bright, indirect light with just a bit of morning or afternoon light if possible!

Water: Make sure to add water directly into the leaves of the plant, so that a little bit of water pools in the center of the plant.
